My name is Alexandra Allard, and I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics at Örebro University. My primary research areas are environmental and resource economics. Previously, I explored the blue economy, i.e., maritime sectors and environments, in my doctoral thesis. More specifically, I examined (i) job creation within the Swedish blue economy, compared to other Swedish sectors; (ii) fishing quota negotations, including EU members' policy position and lobbying success of interest groups in advisory councils; and (iii) external effects of wind turbines.
